Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the remainder of the 23-24 school year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a school setting near the beautiful city of Clarksville, Tennessee. Interviews are being conducted now to secure the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify speech and language disorders in students
• Implement speech and language therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' munication development and academic success
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
• Active Tennessee SLPA licensure
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting
