Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position in Concord, NH, for the 2024-25 school year. This role involves providing 1:1 care for a student. The LPN will be responsible for closely monitoring the student's health throughout the school day and enacting the emergency care plan if necessary. This is a vital role that requires a dedicated professional committed to ensuring the student's safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student with a severe heart condition, ensuring continuous monitoring throughout the school day.
- Implement and follow the student's emergency care plan, taking immediate action if a health crisis arises.
- Collaborate with the student's healthcare providers, teachers, and parents to support the student's health needs within the educational environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of the student's health status, interventions, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and the student's family regarding the student's health and any changes in condition.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Experience working with children with complex medical needs is preferred.
- Strong ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
