Summary: Seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a focus on aircraft maintenance and FAA 145 Repair Station experience.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Five years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience, including two years in a supervisory role
Valid Airframe & Powerplant license (minimum of A License)
Must have previous FAA 145 Repair Station experience
Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical orders, test equipment, and various aircraft components/systems
Working knowledge of computer software packages used within the facility
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime
Must pass mechanical, structural, and avionics assessments
Physical Requirements:
Knowledge and use of protective equipment and safety protocols related to exposure to dust, body fluids, radiation, chemicals, fumes, vapors or mists
Knowledge and use of protective equipment for handling hazardous materials
Knowledge of fall protection requirements
Ability to withstand constant or intermittent loud/high noise levels
Close vision or clear vision at 20 inches or less
Distance vision or clear vision at 20 feet or more
Depth perception (three-dimensional vision)
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee maintenance tasks and personnel to ensure compliance with documentation
Assign maintenance tasks to personnel
Evaluate and estimate maintenance time and cost
Co-sign documents with uncertificated mechanics
Coordinate maintenance plans with other departments
Identify training needs as well as tools/special equipment required
Monitor and update flow plan as required
-Supervise work performed by un-certificated mechanics/personnel unfamiliar with methods/techniques/practices/equipment/tools.
-Provide on-the-job training as required.
-Maintain daily turnover reports for each oncoming shift.
-Maintain hangar cleanliness at all times.
