Top Three Skills:
1.) 5+ years of experience with Advanced Routing Protocols inside of Cisco such as EIGRP and BGP -they need to understand these in depth for the architecture/design work, but they won’t be working hands on with them; they should have an engineering background working with these routing protocols/similar protocols, though.
2.) Experience Designing Network Diagrams using Visio - this is one of the primary duties of this person's job
3.) 5+ years of experience working with Cisco Wireless concepts such as Access Points, Controllers, etc. - they need to understand these concepts and understand how they fit into a network design as well as how to articulate to other engineers, etc.
**CCNP is highly desired or even the physical portion of the CCIE**
