We are in the process of recruiting a Security Operations Specialist: I in Columbus, Ohio. This role is within the security industry, providing an opportunity to monitor complex alarm and surveillance systems. The position is a short term contract role, with the potential for further opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and operating complex alarm and surveillance systems, coordinating suitable responses to alerts

• Answering incoming calls related to suspicious activity or security events, ensuring swift and appropriate action

• Creating comprehensive reports and maintaining detailed logs of all calls and activities

• Liaising with both security and non-security colleagues to coordinate responses or assistance in resolving issues

• Utilizing strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients

• Leveraging skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to optimize task efficiency

• Drawing on previous experience in a call center or similar environment to effectively handle high-intensity situations

• Applying knowledge of security operations and surveillance systems to maintain a secure environment

• Resolving issues promptly and effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities

• Managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring all responsibilities are met in a timely manner.
