Overview
An upscale dining establishment in Anaheim, California, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of its newest location, expected to generate an annual revenue of $15 million. This role requires a strong operational leader with a deep understanding of the upscale dining sector, full-service and full bar experience, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
Salary: Up to $115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards and operational policies.
Forecast sales and manage budgets to meet or exceed financial objectives.
Team Management & Development:
Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performance team, ensuring alignment with the brand’s service standards.
Conduct performance reviews, address areas for improvement, and implement training or coaching as needed.
Customer Experience:
Maintain high standards of customer service to provide an exceptional dining experience.
Address and resolve customer feedback promptly and professionally, using insights for continuous improvement.
Financial Management:
Analyze sales data and operational costs to enhance profitability.
Manage inventory, procurement, and cost controls effectively.
Business Growth & Strategy:
Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and enhance market presence.
Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional activities and campaigns.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Monitor operations to comply with licensing, labor, and health regulations.
Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, the local community, and other stakeholders.
Work with senior management to align restaurant operations with broader business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the upscale dining industry, with proven success in high-revenue, high-volume establishments.
Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Superior interpersonal and communication abilities.
Capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
