Seeking a 1st shift team member for a family-owned job shop. The Mill department consists of 10 CNC Haas Mills. You'll be responsible for overseeing this department and 3-4 Mill Machinists at various levels in their careers. You'll also be responsible for setting up CNC Haas Mills, programming from customer blueprints (G&M Code), verifying setups by measuring the first piece for approval, grinding parts to customer specifications, working with tight tolerances (+/-), and doing 1-off prototype work that ultimately will lead to production runs. You must be fluid in code, able to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery and material problems, work with CMMS, and use precision measurement tools.

Work EnvironmentThis is a clean, well-lit facility with very new CNC machinery (the oldest CNC machine is from 2006).
