This role involves working closely with students with diverse learning needs, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing effective instructional strategies to support their academic and social growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student performance and progress toward IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reviews.
• Use positive behavior support strategies to manage classroom behavior.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Valid state teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
