Position Title: Remote School Occupational Therapist

Location: Opelousas, LA

Duration: Immediate Start - June 20, 2024

Hours: Full-time

Caseload:

• Campus-wide
• K-12
• Traveling between schools as needed
• 85 students across 9 different schools
• Meetings with some kids monthly, low frequency

Description: Join our team as a Remote School Occupational Therapist in Opelousas, LA. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students across multiple schools. As a vital member of our team, you'll provide essential services to students, collaborating with educators and families to support their academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students in various settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' goals
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Flexibility to travel between schools as needed
