This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting parts using metrology equipment such as CMM, Faro
• Perform first piece, in-process and finished parts, production assemblies, and sub-assemblies for conformance to drawings and standards
• Working with blueprints, traveler, work instructions, process specifications, sketches
• Experience with ISO 9001 QMS systems
• Working and understanding industry quality control standards
• Working with engineering drawings and specifications
• Recording inspection results, completing reports, document re-works and wastes
• Entering information into quality database
• Performing inspections and tests as required
• Inspection and test reports, maintain quality control files
• Working with non-conformance reports
• Assisting in understanding codes and standards

Qualifications:

• At least five years previous experience in quality inspection with metal fabrication
• Experience reading and understanding blueprints, sketches
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS system
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances as outlined by ANSI Y145
• Experience with micrometers, verniers and other measuring instruments
• NDT processes is a plus
• Basic computer experience

• GD&T required

Hours are:

Monday through Thursday – 6:30am to 4:00pm and Friday 6:30am to 10:30am

The pay is up to $36.00 an hour based on experience
