Schedule: Full-time, 3rd shift (10P - 6A) available – weekends and overtime as needed
Pay: $17.15 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Youth Care Worker responsible for providing direct care and supervision for unaccompanied children and youth. Services are provided primarily to children between the ages of 0 -17, residing in a 24-hour shelter. YCW is also responsible for facilitating a variety of services for youth including providing program orientation, safe transportation, intake services, and may be asked to assist in vocational, recreational, and structured leisure services.

REQUIREMENTS:
-High School Diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 1 year employment experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents.
-2 years of experience working with youth preferred.
-Experience working in a shelter setting is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
- Bilingual - conversational Spanish required or fluent Spanish preferred.
