Job Description:
We are currently searching for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, have a genuine affinity for working with children, and be devoted to making a positive impact on their lives.
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and crafting speech intervention programs tailored to support the unique needs of our young clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in contributing to the holistic approach we take in delivering top-notch pediatric therapy. Collaborating with our team of therapists and professionals is essential to ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to the well-being of each child.
Responsibilities:
· Identify children's developmental difficulties/disorders.
· Perform evaluations and create Plans of Care for Physical Therapy needs.
· Implement developmentally appropriate goals
· Work with clients on a one-to-one basis to deliver therapy.
· Maintain electronic treatment records and progress reports using web-based therapy software.
· Monitor and analyze client progress, adjusting intervention strategies and treatment plans as needed.
· Record CPT codes in our EMR system
· Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions.
· Provide parent/caregiver training and support.
· Collaborate with therapists and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to therapy.
Requirements:
· Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university
· Active Physical Therapy License from the State of Florida
· Up to date CEU's
· Active Medicaid provider number with no restrictions
· Experience working with children with varying disabilities.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children.
· CPR Certification
· CAQH
· Professional Liability and Car Insurance
· Level II AHCA Background Check required before hiring
· Ability to travel within the community.
