This role is integral to our client's team, focusing on the development and testing of software applications. It involves working within the Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering industries, using a variety of skills such as Agile Scrum and Software Development Life Cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications using LabView.
- Implement data acquisition using National Instruments-based hardware systems such as DAQmx, cRIO, cDAQ, and PXI.
- Conduct software verification and validation to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed software.
- Perform research and development to design new test equipment and technology, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products.
- Compile data and write reports for completed projects, providing a clear overview of project progress and outcomes.
- Utilize bug tracking and database skills to manage and resolve software issues.
- Apply Agile Software Development methodologies for efficient and effective team collaboration.
- Leverage software development skills in C#, C Sharp Programming, and .NET C++ for various development tasks.
- Contribute to the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
- Employ detail-oriented software development practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Role Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role as a LabView Software Developer.
- Proficiency in LabView and National Instruments LabVIEW software.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Experience with Enterprise Software Development and Full Software Development.
- Understanding of CDAQ, PXI, and CompactRIO (cRIO) systems.
- Proficiency in C# - Sharp, C Sharp Programming (C#), C++, and .NET C++.
- Experience in Software Design and understanding of Software Development Methodologies.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in Bug Tracking and Database management.
- Familiarity with AB Testing practices.
- Detail oriented Software Development skills are necessary.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the designated location.
