Robert Half is looking for a skilled Data Analyst/Data Engineer to join our team. This role involves creating data architectures, integrating data from various sources, and developing visual reports. The position also requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in database management, and the ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.

Duties:

• Create data architecture (Entity Relations Diagram) and datasets based on reporting requirements and data collections by teams across the agency
• Determine additional data collection and reporting requirements. 
• Identify, extract, integrate data from a variety of sources (e.g, Salesforce, excel tracker, Financial edge), administrative data, and other big data sources throughout the agency
• Write codebooks for specific datasets and contexts
• Clean, merge, and process raw data from government and non-profit partners
• Support efforts building Data lake
• Reporting - design and customize analytical reports based upon data in the database
• Data Visualization - create complex charts and databases, perform statistical analyses, and develop graphs and tables for publication and presentation
• Identify data storage solutions (databases and data lakes)

Qualifications:

• Experience in database management, both relational (e.g, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational
• Experience with Salesforce database desirable.
• Experience working with a large and complex code base
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience working with diverse groups and individuals
• Experience implementing machine learning methods and mathematical optimization
