We are looking for a DevOps Developer to join our team in the service industry, located in WESTLAKE, Ohio. The DevOps Developer will play a significant role in our team, driving development projects, managing code scanning, and supporting enterprise job scheduling. This role involves overseeing environment management, package management, and deployments, with the aim of enhancing our team's overall success.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage software packages and dependencies using package management tools such as Azure DevOps Artifacts, NuGet, npm, Maven.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline the software build, test, and deployment processes.
• Support and manage ActiveBatch job scheduling and automation processes, optimizing job workflows and plans to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Perform regular environment assessments and updates to support evolving application needs and infrastructure changes.
• Manage and support development, staging, and production environments, ensuring they are properly configured and maintained.
• Evaluate, implement, and manage DevOps tools and frameworks such as SSMS, Visual Studio, VS Code, Git for Windows, Node.js, etc.
• Oversee and execute application deployments to various environments, including development, staging, and production.
• Coordinate with development and operations teams to schedule and perform releases.
• Review and optimize job workflows and plans to improve efficiency, reliability, and meet business requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies, recommending and integrating new solutions to enhance DevOps practices.• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a DevOps Developer role or similar position
• Proficient in using VMware for virtualization and cloud computing software applications
• Experienced in creating and managing reports using Crystal Reports
• Knowledgeable in automated test tools and their implementation in the development process
• Able to perform data mapping for the integration of different systems
• Skilled in using GIT for version control in software development
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
