Virtual School Psychologist

Location: Remote - CA certification required
Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Contract
Pay: $60+/Hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional issues.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies and interventions that support students' academic and social-emotional development.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided and progress monitored.
• Utilize telehealth platforms and digital tools effectively to engage with students and provide services.
• Stay current with state and federal regulations, ethical guidelines, and best practices in school psychology.
• Participate in virtual meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a School Psychologist in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist, with experience in virtual or remote settings preferred.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms, digital assessment tools, and other virtual communication technologies.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
