Job Description: As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in the preparation and compounding of sterile IV medications for patients in a long-term care setting. This evening shift position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment, focusing on patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile IV medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Accurately measure, mix, and label medications according to established procedures.
• Maintain and clean the sterile compounding area, ensuring compliance with USP <797> guidelines.
• Manage and organize inventory, including monitoring expiration dates and stock levels.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective preparation of medications.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 4:30pm - 1:00am
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy technician experience.
• IV/sterile compounding experience
• Prior data entry experience preferred
• California pharmacy technician license
