Caseload/Details:

• Caseload includes students in the mild/moderate program with some behaviors.
• 2 SPED mild/moderate teachers at an Elementary school in Vail.
• 1 SPED for Significant Support Needs (SSN) at a high school in Eagle

Special Requirements:

• Active teacher or special service provider certification or license issued by the State of Colorado
• Endorsement and/or specialized courses and training in the area(s) of Special Education and/or a Temporary Teacher Eligibility in area(s) of assignment

Job Description: We are seeking three dedicated Special Education Teachers (SPED) to join our team in Vail/Eagle, CO for the 2024-2025 school year. These full-time positions involve working with students with mild to moderate disabilities, as well as significant support needs, across elementary and high school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in both inclusive and separate settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote student success
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to acmodate the diverse needs of students
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
