Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Manassas, VA

Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in partnership with schools in Manassas, VA, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. SLPs play a vital role in helping students develop effective communication skills and overcome speech and language challenges. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and will possess strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Virginia license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide professional references.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dedication to providing high-quality speech-language therapy services.
