Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Remote (serving students in Georgia)
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Contract
Pay: $40+/hour

Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments using virtual tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and student needs.
• Utilize formal and informal assessment tools to determine the presence of speech, language, and communication disorders.

Therapy and Intervention:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students via teletherapy platforms.
• Implement evidence-based practices and interventions to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support speech and language development in various environments.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, including session notes, progress reports, and other required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA and FERPA.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards as outlined by ASHA and state licensing boards.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Georgia SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations.
