Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Remote; Nevada, United States
Job Type: Fulltime, ASAP Start - Work From Home
Pay: $40+/Hour

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a Virtual School SLP. In this role, you will provide online speech and language therapy services to students enrolled in virtual schools across Nevada. As a Virtual School SLP, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs and goals.
• Provide online speech and language therapy sessions using telepractice platforms.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the student's educational team to support their academic and social-emotional development.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Nevada state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a virtual setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students effectively.
• Comfortable using technology and telepractice platforms for virtual therapy sessions.
• Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse student populations.
