Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Remote - Indiana License
Job Type: Full time, Flexible contract
Pay: $48+/Hour
We are seeking a qualified and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our virtual network. As a Virtual School SLP, you will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students enrolled in our virtual school program. This position offers the unique opportunity to support students' communication development through innovative online platforms and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, including articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language skills.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students through virtual platforms, utilizing evidence-based interventions and strategies.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy goals and interventions as needed to ensure academic and functional success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessments, and therapy sessions in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators to discuss students' progress, concerns, and recommended strategies for support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-related meetings as necessary.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in the field of speech-language pathology, and integrate new knowledge into practice.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Indiana state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, preferably with virtual or teletherapy experience.
- Strong knowledge of assessment procedures, intervention techniques, and assistive technologies related to speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals in a virtual environment.
- Comfortable using technology and virtual platforms for delivering therapy services and maintaining documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
