Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Alburgh, VT

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Start Date: Late July, 2024
• End Date: May 23, 2025

Role and Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
• Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address various communication disorders.
• Direct Therapy Services: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, consulting with teachers and families to optimize students' learning experiences.
• Record Maintenance: Keep detailed and accurate records of services provided and monitor student progress.
• IEP Involvement: Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Caseload Information:

• Students Served: Kindergarten through 8th grade
• Caseload: Approximately 50-60 students
• Support: Para support available
• Number of School Sites: Multiple schools in our district

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certifications: CCC-SLP or CF-SLP
• Experience: Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• New Graduates: Open to Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows.
