Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Alburgh, VT
Job Details:
- Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Start Date: Late July, 2024
- End Date: May 23, 2025
Role and Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address various communication disorders.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, consulting with teachers and families to optimize students' learning experiences.
- Record Maintenance: Keep detailed and accurate records of services provided and monitor student progress.
- IEP Involvement: Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Caseload Information:
- Students Served: Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Caseload: Approximately 50-60 students
- Support: Para support available
- Number of School Sites: Multiple schools in our district
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certifications: CCC-SLP or CF-SLP
- Experience: Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- New Graduates: Open to Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows.
