100 yr old, publicly traded organization is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Accountant to join their accounting team. The successful applicant will report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager. This is a hybrid role that offers working from home one day a week and 1/2 day Fridays.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare public filings using SEC reporting software
* Develop and maintain quarter-end and monthly close
schedules, encompassing tactics like property entries
* Streamline the quarter-end close process
* Coordinate with both internal and external players to handle
auditor requests
Job Requirements:
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related
field
* 1-3 years of prior experience in an accounting role
* Work in SEC reporting software to prepare public filings
* Excellent attention to detail
