Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team. Contract for 4 months Located in Morgan Hill, CA Offering $30-40.00/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Controller in preparing monthly financial close and in producing related financial/operational reports (i.e., sales and production, account reconciliations, etc.) and annual budget review.
  • Interact with all departments to assure accuracy of costs and other financial reporting; perform cost analysis as assigned and assist in cost analysis for farm products, raw materials, etc.
  • Performs monthly closings for farm financial statements, budget reports and month end closing.
  • Prepares account reconciliations and inventory cycle count.
  • Prepares accurate, timely reports for management.
  • Provides financial and operational analysis support for management. Prepares for review cost analysis for new product lines, margin analysis for products, customers and territories, and any other necessary analysis.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting or Finance or related field
  • 2-3 years’ Sr. Accountant, including AR, AP, PR, and GL, preferably in manufacturing or agriculture
