Licensed Health Insurance Agent

Job Type: Full-time, Remote

Responsibilities:

• Handle and carefully respond to all inbound and outbound customer inquiries.
• Provide exceptional customer service through active listening.
• Work with confidential customer information and treat it with sensitivity.
• Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, patient, empathetic, and understanding.
• Communicate appropriately with customers, exercising retention efforts when necessary.
• Assist customers who are comparison-shopping or inquiring about contract terms by providing the correct price plan.
• Compassionately manage sensitive situations related to healthcare needs, education, and prevention planning.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Requirements:
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Comfort with using a desktop computer system.
• Proven oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess a Health Insurance License in your home state.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months of experience in a call center and/or sales environment.
• Strong logical problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work various shifts.
• Proficiency in using Windows operating systems.
• Excellent organizational and work prioritization skills.
