Hiring Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist in Connecticut School District for 2024-2025 School Year

Hours: Full-Time during school hours
Caseload: K-12
Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Location: Virtually (Connecticut)

Job Details:

• Perform thorough assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient needs, and best practices.
• Incorporate augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and techniques as needed.
• Provide information and training to patients, families, and caregivers on managing and improving communication and swallowing issues.
• Keep detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Connecticut Speech Language Pathology (CCCs) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a speech language pathologist with students with communication disorders in a school setting
• Experience providing virtual therapy services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet (no Chromebooks/tablets permitted)

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
  • $40-50/ Hour
• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Clinical and technical support provided by VocoVision.
• Flexible scheduling based on school needs and therapist availability.
