Location: Mena, AR

Duration: 8-12 weeks

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-6:00pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides detailed pharmaceutical services, including reviewing, pounding, and dispensing medications
• Engage directly with patients and healthcare providers to consult on drug indications, contraindications, interactions, and side effects
• Oversee and ensure the appropriate storage and distribution of medications across various facilities
• Implement quality control testing and maintain pliance with all regulatory standards
• Play a crucial role in patient health by conducting medication therapy management, clinical assessments, and documentation in the electronic medical records system
• Actively participate in and support our 340B prescription program and other stewardship activities

Qualifications:

• Registered Pharmacist by the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy, active and in good standing
• Must have prior experience opening/closing a retail pharmacy and supervising technicians
• Prior 340B pharmacy experience, highly preferred
• Full time availability and the ability to start quickly
