ProCare Therapy is excited to partner with a school district in Richland, WA, to find a skilled and enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for the 2024-2025 school year. Position Highlights:

• Type: Full-time
• Location: On-site
• Rate: $33-38/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services in a school environment under the guidance of a licensed therapist.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to design and implement personalized therapy plans.
• Assess students needs and progress, focusing on areas such as motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Conduct therapeutic activities aimed at enhancing motor skills, coordination, and independence.
• Keep thorough records and comply with professional standards and regulations.
• Provide training to school staff on effective techniques and necessary accommodations.
• Engage in team meetings and stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
• Must hold a valid COTA license and teaching certifications for Washington.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with educators, parents, and other team members.
