• 2-3 providers on shift at all times

Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday: 1pm-9pm Friday: 1p-8p

Saturday-Sunday: 10am-8pm

Required Education/Experience:

• Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program
• Valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the state of Virginia
• Experience in Pediatrics/ER/Urgent Care (preferred)
• While experience is preferred, KidMed is willing to train providers on how to perform procedures and read x-rays during our 4 week orientation period.

What is KidMed?

KidMed cares for illnesses and injuries including evaluation and treatment of acute febrile illnesses, acute respiratory illnesses, and acute gastrointestinal illnesses. We treat lacerations, puncture wounds, abscesses, embedded foreign objects (in skin, ear canals, and nostrils), as well as fractures and other acute sports injuries. We specialize in pediatrics, age newborn through age 25.
