Role: Logistics Supervisor

Location: Irwin, PA

Pay: $60k-$65K base

Our Manufacturing client is expanding and looking to add a Logistics Supervisor to their team who would be responsible for supervising shipping and logistic operation's, including product packaging and loading. The candidate would oversee and implement overall shipping processes, track orders and manage shipping documents to ensure timely delivery of equipment/product/machinery. Understanding of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliancy required.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with carriers to schedule shipments and ensure on-time delivery • Suggest solutions for process optimization

• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errors

• Maintain a neat, clean, safe working environment by adhering to OSHA standards

• Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner

• Set shipping KPIs and report results to upper management

• Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and training as needed

• Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders (such as freight company vendors, riggers, purchasing managers, suppliers, etc.)

• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for seamless operations

• Negotiate better pricing

• Becoming certified in CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) to maintain compliance

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· 1-3 years’ experience in a logistics/warehouse supervisory role.

· Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents

· Shipping software experience

· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

· Knowledge of MS Office applications

· SAP knowledge a plus

· Good written and oral communication skills
