- Description of the Position
This position provides expertise, guidance, and support to the Process Management & Innovation Supervisor in developing and enhancing processes and organization of the Base Maintenance Production Network. To work closely together with the to support the delivery of Strategic Company and Corporate Objectives through the deployment of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques. Maintaining close collaboration with the Process Specialists from the other facilities.
- Essential Responsibilities
- Pro-actively Support the ONE Production System (OPS) in general and the Process Management & Innovation Supervisor in particular in implementing, sustaining, and continuously improving the OPS network with their central and local strategic projects and initiatives.
- Provide expertise, guidance, coaching and support to the local management in establishing and maintaining a winning culture of Continuous Improvement (CI).
- Analyze processes and align with other departments to evaluate and support the implementation of improvements.
- Work in projects related to the responsible processes.
- Participate in developing targets.
- Take an active role in the implementation of solutions for process improvements within the department.
- Assist the Process Management & Innovation Supervisor in maintaining the OPS Control platform (OPS-CC).
- Coordinate and assist in the creation and monitoring of agreed process improvement plan at site level in close coordination with the Process Management & Innovation Supervisor, Head of Production (HOP) and CEO, regularly reviewing the local and central projects and performing or assisting corresponding risk assessment.
- Develop automations for data gathering from different sources across the organization and transfer this knowledge into easy-to-understand reports and digital solutions.
- Promote the awareness of current developments in Lean methods & tools, problem solving, CI and change management.
- Perform detailed analysis, interpretation including trends and launch proposed initiatives based on the outcome of the data.
- Maintains working area clean and organized.
- Comply and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, local and federal regulations.
- Perform other tasks and projects, as requested.
- Ensure adherence to compliance culture requirements.
- Education, Skills, and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, data Analysis or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in data handling and visualization
- Experience in process analysis, improvement, and designs (preferably in the MRO environment)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be keen to learn & build up expertise regarding CI methods & tools.
- Have a strong ability to understand and apply Change Management and process improvements philosophies/ thinking to the continuous improvement of business processes.
- Be a creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to facilitate strategic & operational events from shop floor to executive level.
- Be a team player and have the strong ability to engage others.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and prioritize (Manage Complexity).
- Have commercial awareness and a technical understanding of the MRO business.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have a high level of discipline and courage for Process Governance & Compliance Culture.
- Have very good Project Management Skills (drive, delivery, creativity, and determination).
- Fluent in English (both Written and spoken)
- Office environment. This job operates in a professional office environment.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax, scanner and filing cabinets.
- Could often work more than 40 hours per week, including on evenings and weekends. Also usually travel often for work.
- The workspace may range from a desk in an open layout cubicle, a private office or working remotely from home.
