Would you like to have every weekend off including Fridays?
POSITION: Tool Room Machinist– Full Time position - Four Day Work Week! Direct Hire - $30-40/hr
HOURS/DAYS: 6am to 4:30pm, Monday thru Thursday
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Machine and build fixtures and devices that hold and cradle their product for finish machining various operations.
- Setup/operate CNC Machining centers via Mastercam
- Build new forming and sizing dies to produce products (elbow-cap-reducer forming)
- Repair and maintain all tools
- Operate forklift
- Machines in toolroom: Bridgeports, Jig Mill, Drill Presses, Manual Lathes, Hardness Tester, Radial Arm Drills, Surface Grinder
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 8+ years experience
- Fanuc and Mazak controls (lathe & mills) experience preferred
- Able to use all machines in the toolroom
- Mastercam setup
- Read and work from blueprints
EDUCATION LEVEL:
- High School with Technical School/training
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting – rarely
- Standing - Often
- Bending/Stooping/Pushing/Pulling – Routinely
- Lifting under or over 10 lbs. or more – Routinely
- Carrying under or over 10 lbs. or more – Routinely
- Reading documents – Routinely
REQUIRED MATERIALS:
- Steel toe safety footwear
- Standard safety glasses w/side shields – company provides.
- Prescription safety glasses must be approved by OSHA standard and have side shields.
