Position: Tax Manager

Due to continuous growth and new client acquisitions, our client's Tax Team is expanding, and we are seeking a proactive, hands-on, and growth-oriented Tax Manager to join our client's leadership team.

Job Description:

As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our firm's success by providing strategic tax planning and compliance expertise to our clients. Additionally, you will contribute to the growth and development of our client's team members while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about tax, committed to client service, and dedicated to promoting a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique tax needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring precision and adherence to all relevant regulations.
• Proactively identify tax planning opportunities and strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to help them reach their full potential.
• Promote a collaborative and team-oriented work culture, emphasizing the growth and well-being of team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to team members.

Strategic Planning:

• Assist in formulating and executing the firm's tax strategy, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiency.

Compliance and Regulation:

• Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations, ensuring that the firm and its clients remain in compliance.
• Provide guidance on tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA, EA, or JD required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in tax planning and compliance, focusing on complex tax issues.
• Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Experience in leading and developing a team of tax professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
