ENTEK is seeking applications for multiple CNC Machining Center Operator roles to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).
The CNC Machining Center Operator produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. They verify settings by measuring positions, creating first-run parts, and sample workpieces during production machining. The Operator sets up tooling, fixturing and inspection equipment required for part types in production group, and performs maintenance duties.
Working Environment
The hours for this role are 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., Sunday-Wednesday (Shift 2) OR Wednesday-Saturday (Shift 4).
This role requires working 11.5-hour overnight shifts, spending the majority of the work shift on their feet. This role requires the incumbent to regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. Incumbents will complete tasks that require finger dexterity, reaching, handling of materials and equipment, talking, hearing, and near and far sight. At times the individual in this role may be required to kneel, stoop, and/or crouch. The role may require the employee to work near moving mechanical parts, and may occasionally expose the employee to fumes and/or airborne particles. This role required the incumbent to wear eye and hearing protection.
