Position: Tax Senior Manager or Tax Director Due to continuous growth and new client acquisitions, we are expanding our Tax Team. We are on the lookout for a proactive, hands-on, and growth-oriented Tax Senior Manager to be a part of the firm's leadership team.

Job Description:

As a Tax Leader, you will play a critical role in our firm's success by providing strategic tax planning and compliance expertise to our clients. You will also contribute to the growth and development of our team members while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about tax, dedicated to client service, and committed to promoting a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

   • Build and maintain exceptional relationships with clients, understanding their unique tax needs, and providing tailored solutions.
   • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
   • Proactively identify tax planning opportunities and strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

   • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their full potential.
   • Foster a collaborative and team-oriented work culture, emphasizing the growth and well-being of team members.
   • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

3. Strategic Planning:

   • Assist in the development and execution of the firm's tax strategy, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
   • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.

4. Compliance and Regulation:

   • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firm and its clients remain in compliance.
   • Provide guidance on tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic business decisions.

5. Client Acquisition and Business Development:

   • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the firm's client base.
   • Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase the firm's expertise and value.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA, EA or JD required
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in tax planning and compliance, with a focus on complex tax issues.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Experience in leading and developing a team of tax professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
