Start your career as a Rad Tech within a Great Health System!??????Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:30 – 4:00p
Responsibilities:
Responsible for taking x-ray exams, bone density exams and related duties. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.
Requirements:
1. Associate’s degree in radiological technology from accredited x-ray technician program.
2. Minimum of one year clinical experience.
3. Current CPR certification.
Preferred:
1. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration.
2. Possesses a preference for dealing with people who are ill and need help.
3. Displays an outgoing, warm and helpful attitude.
4. Detail oriented.
5. Possesses the tact to deal effectively with patients, guests, co- workers and physicians.
Current Staff-?1-2 rad techs dependent on volume
EMR-?Cerner and utilize OpalRad
Orientation/training–
All rad techs will go through training with our Lead Rad tech as well as our current rad tech staffing. They will get a training schedule and will need to be willing to travel to other offices for training as well. They will be given all the physicians protocols and won’t be released to work on their own until they feel comfortable performing all the required imaging
