The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY is seeking to hire a full time Physical Therapist at our Roosevelt Children's Center. The licensed Physical Therapist (PT) will provide direct treatment to preschoolers' age birth to five.

A Day In The Life As A Physical Therapist:

• Provide physical therapy services to our Wayne County community's preschool age children in a caring, patient, and supportive manner.
• Complete all the documentation needed to ensure we can continue to provide our valuable services to the community, this includes planning and writing of Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP)/ Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals and objectives, progress reports, and updates to these plans as necessary.
• Establish a close working relationship with the children's parents, and you will provide support and encouragement, as well as educating them to know how to best support their child(ren)'s physical therapy needs.

Qualifications:

• A physical therapy degree and a New York State Physical Therapy License.
• A current and valid New York State driver's license.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) OR Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
