Pediatric Staff Occupational Therapist - Cary, NC

Compensation: $78,000 - $90,000 per year DOE

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Pediatric Staff Occupational Therapist in the Cary, NC area. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of pediatric occupational therapy, experience in developing treatment plans for children, and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

About the Job: As a Pediatric Staff Occupational Therapist, you will work in a clinic in Cary, NC, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, PRN, or per-diem schedules. This role involves conducting 80-minute evaluations, participating in multidisciplinary patient-centric staff meetings, and having dedicated time each week for meetings and documentation. You'll work with a paperless system, utilizing a Chromebook or tablet to ensure efficient and effective documentation and communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive assessments tailored treatment plans for patients, fostering their progress.

• Evaluate therapy outcomes, making necessary adjustments for optimal results.

• Stay updated with advancements in treatment practices, ensuring patients receive the best care.

• Collaborate with Speech and Physical Therapists to deliver integrated care to our Patients.

Qualifications:

• Certified by the National Board for Certification.

• Valid state license in the Occupational therapy discipline.

• Ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative when analyzing problems and recommending solutions
