Duties:
To perform all cooking/baking functions in the Nutrition Services Department to meet the needs of the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and all other department customers by providing high quality clinical and food services in a safe and cost effective.
Skills:
One (1) year of work experience as a cook - Required
Education:
High School Diploma or GED - Required
Candidate will be working in the Patient Services kitchen. They will need to be able to understand and follow patient diet orders. There will be a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.&
The schedule will be provided two weeks in advance for workers to make arrangements as needed. No RTO for the Christmas holiday can be approved - coverage is needed. Preferred Experience: Experience as a cook in an acute healthcare setting or nursing home.
