We are looking for a dedicated, professional, and joyful pediatric speech and language pathologist to assess, treat, provide parent coaching, and celebrate what makes each child unique all while working in a setting that allows for swinging, climbing, playing, and laughing. We are currently looking for a part-time pediatric therapist to perform evaluations, consultations and weekly treatment sessions. Ability to work one weekend day (and earn extra pay) is required for this position to help meet clients needs. Client disorders addressed include: childhood apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, voice and fluency difficulties, social communication disorders, and specific language impairment. Therapy is provided in-person at the clinic with occasional tele-health therapy services.
Essential functions of this position include:
- Screens and evaluates children with communication and/or feeding disorders
- Writes evaluation reports
- Develops treatment programs for children needing speech therapy services
- Provides individual and group therapy
- Measures and documents outcomes of treatment programs
- Writes treatment reports
- Interfaces with other members of the clients team, especially the parents/family
- Acquires, at minimum, the continuing education units (CEU's) necessary for license renewal
- Be able to provide both in-person and tele-therapy sessions with clients
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Prefer 1 year experience as a speech language pathologist, with a strong preference for those with a pediatric background. Will consider strong candidates actively working toward their certificate. In-person interview required. Weekly
collaboration/supervision available for therapist with great potential. Participation in student training, research, or administration may be available for experienced therapist.
Must have a degree in speech language pathology, be nationally certified and be eligible for a SLP California state license. We conduct live scan screening.
