Overview:

The Sponsor requires support specializing in the development and maintenance of SharePoint websites and Access database tools.

Web DeveloperThe Sponsors business environment provides quality visualization and publishing services in support of corporate communication requirements for a communitywide client base. The Sponsor requires support specializing in the development and maintenance of SharePoint websites and Access database tools. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. The Sponsor needs polished skills in communication, planning, attention to detail, and execution while managing a moderate to heavy workload. The Web Developer will work independently to provide expert development and engineering support to clients in SharePoint and related tools and platforms. They will develop custom SharePoint websites and complex database applications using ACCESS/VBA, manage the maintenance of new and existing websites, and interface directly with the Sponsor Offices customers as a technical subject matter expert and as part of ad-hoc, project oriented teams. The Web Developer will elicit requirements for website development from the communitywide client base; document website requirements; develop, test, and deploy new websites; and manage the development of new websites. They will be supported by an in-house UI design capability to support full user experience product development, participate in biweekly team meetings to share project information and provide support to other projects as appropriate, and provide regular verbal and written status reports and submit written reports on significant deliverables to the Sponsor. They should be prepared to apply business acumen to provide cost effective solutions, monitor expenditures, and provide production data to contribute to a full cost recovery business model.

Must-Have Skills:

• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience in SharePoint site design and development.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience managing website projects and web development.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with migrating SharePoint sites from previous SharePoint versions.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with SharePoint Designer, including complex 2010/2013 workflows.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience in automating administrative tasks in SharePoint.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting database-driven websites.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience developing websites using SharePoint API, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Microsoft.NET.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with SharePoint ACCESS integration and ACCESS/VBA development outside of just macros.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving problems on legacy SharePoint sites.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing Joomla websites.
• (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience designing and supporting Joomla Extension or Module creation.

Desired Skills:

• (Desired) Demonstrated experience integrating with Sponsors Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• (Desired) Demonstrated experience with Sponsor SharePoint server farms.
• (Desired) Demonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting WordPress websites.
• (Desired) Demonstrated experience implementing complex visual styles via HTML5, or Bootstrap.
• (Desired) Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise Content Management Systems or Knowledge Management Systems.
• (Desired) Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining user authentication methods.
• (Desired) Demonstrated experience implementing accessibility features in web and interactive products.
• (Desired) Demonstrated experience developing websites and applications meeting Section 508 standards.
• (Desired) Demonstrated experience using PHP.
