Reports to: Director of Marketing
Overview/Job Purpose
The marketing assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts and helping to drive the success of our campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing and contributeto the growth of our company.
Summary of Primary Duties:
- Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Design and create engaging content for social media platforms and other marketing channels.
- Monitor and report on social media campaign productivity.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of advertising sales activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep our social media marketing strategies innovative and effective.
- Collaborate with Marketing Director to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Ensure marketing, promotional, and event materials are maintained and distributed appropriately.
Performance Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with the public.
- Strong knowledge of social media and content creation with Facebook and Instagram.
- Strong graphic design skills and experience with Canva or similar tools preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Experience in marketing preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Proficient in Social Media platforms to include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok (LinkedIn and Hootsuite a plus)
