Summary:
Non-managerial, non-leadership role.
Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements.
Use 3-D CAD tools to design and modify components, supporting engineering groups, production, suppliers, and customers.
Lead test integration and analysis to validate system and component requirements.
Manage supplier development, test, and production activities.
Investigate emerging technologies for future product designs.
Provide direction for structural and interior payload system design.
Oversee performance, integration, and analysis of validation tests.
Optimize design through supplier coordination and manage development activities.
Develop new design/analysis processes to improve quality and efficiency.
Investigate new technologies for future product design concepts.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 9+ years of experience.
ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
Equivalent advanced degrees (PhD or Master's) with relevant work experience considered.
Experience in structural design from conceptual phase to build-to package release.
Proficiency in Model-Based Definition.
Experience leading a structural design team.
Desired Skills
Skills in CATIA, Enovia, NX CAD, and Teamcenter PDM.
Experience in earned value management.
Familiarity with new material utilization.
