Summary:

• Non-managerial, non-leadership role.

• Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements.

• Use 3-D CAD tools to design and modify components, supporting engineering groups, production, suppliers, and customers.

• Lead test integration and analysis to validate system and component requirements.

• Manage supplier development, test, and production activities.

• Investigate emerging technologies for future product designs.

• Provide direction for structural and interior payload system design.

• Oversee performance, integration, and analysis of validation tests.

• Optimize design through supplier coordination and manage development activities.

• Develop new design/analysis processes to improve quality and efficiency.

• Investigate new technologies for future product design concepts.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 9+ years of experience.

• ABET accreditation preferred but not required.

• Equivalent advanced degrees (PhD or Master's) with relevant work experience considered.

• Experience in structural design from conceptual phase to build-to package release.

• Proficiency in Model-Based Definition.

• Experience leading a structural design team.

Desired Skills

• Skills in CATIA, Enovia, NX CAD, and Teamcenter PDM.

• Experience in earned value management.

• Familiarity with new material utilization.
