Job Responsibilities:
The following represents some major areas of concern in Social Worker.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide counseling and support to individuals dealing with a range of issues, such as mental health concerns, substance abuse, domestic violence, and housing instability.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as medical professionals, therapists, and educators, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Illinois.
- 2 years of experience in providing social work services.
- School clearly wants someone who has experience in School setting and is very well versed with IEPs, 504 plans.
