THE VITAL FINANCIAL ROLE YOU'LL HAVE

As a hybrid Tax Manager at our public accounting firm, you will be at the forefront of tax strategy and compliance, meeting with and advising clients on tax matters to expand our footprint. You'll create and track project progress using KarbonHQ, prepare and review C Corp, S Corp, and individual federal and state returns, and act as an advisor and mentor to staff. You'll represent clients in audits, resolve issues through research and correspondence, and manage ongoing client engagements with strategic planning. Additionally, you will manage the tax team, creating systems and processes to achieve our company's vision!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• Certification as a CPA or an EA
• Possession of a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) or the ability to qualify for one
• 5+ years of tax experience
• Supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and multistate partnership tax compliance, reporting, research, and planning
• Excellent communication skills

This hybrid remote role works Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 6 PM. Some weekend or evening work may be needed to accommodate our clients' financial needs.
