Responsibilities include analyze and understand simulation software discrepancies and change requirements, develop conceptual solutions, design, code, implement and test these solutions. Understand and modify software for training devices and other similar applications that satisfy specified operational, performance, and interface requirements. Responsible for these simulation software tasks within a specified budget and schedule.
Further responsibilities include risk identification and management, communicating with coworkers and management at every phase of the design process, and presenting design ideas, solutions, and status.
SIGNING BONUS:
A $7,000.00 signing bonus will be paid out in two installments: the first installment will be 70% paid at the time of the employee’s first paycheck; the second installment will be 30% paid upon completion of twelve continuous uninterrupted months of employment. All bonuses are subject to local, state, and federal withholdings. In the event that you leave the company within 12 months of your date of hire, you will be responsible for reimbursing the company for the entire 100% of the signing bonus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent with 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the sciences underlying software engineering. C# experience, GIT experience, and change Unix experienct to RHEL/Unix is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional literature. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, and colleagues. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to comprehend and apply basic trigonometry and calculus. Ability to comprehend and apply principles of modern algebra, Boolean algebra, ratios, and percentages.
COMPUTER SKILLS:Solid Technology skills including proficiency with software configuration management (CM) and development tools and Microsoft Office applications are essential. Experienced and proficient in the use of standard personal computer software tools; including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation graphics and databases.
REASONING ABILITY:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CITIZENSHIP:U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
