We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead who will join our Medius Pay team in Jacksonville.

Medius Pay is a fully managed service where Medius takes responsibility for paying invoices through the most efficient and cost-effective manner for each supplier – whether by card, ACH, or electronic print check. It's a cloud native solution, created in C#, .NET 8 and hosted fully on Azure.

What will you do?

• Take a key part in the migration of the legacy ASP .NET 4 Web Pages application to cutting edge .NET 8 + React cloud native service
• Support and maintain legacy payment solution that is still used by houndreds of companies in US
• Take a part in the development of our new, cloud native payment solution (Azure, .NET 8, React, TypeScript) that is used by 50+ companies around the globe, with ambition to double this number by the end of 2024
• Be a part of the whole flow of feature development: from the business discussions, design sessions, implementation and release - the future of the product will be in your hands
• Working in a cross-functional team of professionals who really care about their work and support each other
• Working with Azure, ServiceBus, DDD, automated tests, CI/CD
• Leading US development team (5 people now)
• Organizing everyday work, being in touch with product management
• Making sure that priorites are well understood by the team

What kind of experience should you have?

• At least 5 years on similar position
• Solid knowledge in C# and .NET technologies
• Commercial experience in frontend frameworks like React (or similar) and TypeScript
• Experience in relational databases, MSSQL, TSQL, Entity Framework
• Experience in code testing practices
• Experience in designing REST web services
• Experience in working with legacy code

Nice to have

• Fintech experience
  
• Experience in building bank integrations (ISO 20022, NACHA, etc.)
• Experience in ASP .NET Web Pages, JavaScript
• Experience with DDD, CQRS
• Experience in Azure Cloud
• Experience in Python
