Operations and Product Support Manager
Position Overview
The Operations & Product Support Manager will oversee daily operational functions to ensure seamless product delivery, customer satisfaction, and technical support. This role is responsible for managing inventory, logistics, customer service, and clinical/product installations, while driving efficiency and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Clinical & Product Support
Manage on-site diagnostic equipment installations and training sessions, either directly or through team members.
Partner with the sales team to support product installations and troubleshoot technical issues.
Handle product quality claims, prepare reports, and coordinate with headquarters for timely resolution.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop direct reports to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement.
Implement strategies to evaluate and improve processes across product support, customer service, logistics, and warehouse operations.
Customer Service
Oversee the processing of quotes and sales orders, providing backup support when needed.
Resolve customer issues by delivering accurate information and effective solutions.
Ensure customer records are complete and properly maintained in both physical and digital formats.
Manage RMAs and coordinate timely product returns to headquarters for inspection.
Maintain updated documentation and files
Logistics & Inventory Management
Establish and oversee cycle counting programs to ensure inventory accuracy and FIFO practices.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including customs clearance and FDA compliance.
Ensure product traceability across field inventory, trunk stock, and samples.
Bachelor’s degree
Broad experience in the medical device industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and CRM systems preferred.
Dynamic, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated leader with a strong sense of accountability.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a proven ability to execute and deliver results.
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel as required.
