We have an opening for an Senior Internal Auditor requiring a strong understanding of accounting, finance and compliance principles with an IT background to work within the company's Internal Audit Team. This role assists with IT SOX programs within the company.

This entity located in beautiful Northern Colorado has access to the mountains, outdoor activities and a number of lakes. They offer a relocation package, sponsorship, limited travel, salary ranging from $85K up to $110K (DOE), and a potential 20% company bonus . Responsibilities

• Manage documentation and issuance of reports to management addressing the efficacy of company controls.
• Responsible for the verification and audit of Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls.
• Assist audit groups with IT control interpretation, applicability, practices, and walk-throughs to ascertain necessary/applicable modifications.
• Contribute to the development and performance of the auditing division while applying IT internal controls while working with other auditors on joint financial/IT reviews.
• Ownership and accountability for the general audit IT controls team while applying Application Controls Testing.
• Assist in the development of a combined assurance approach and interface with external audit, as necessary.
• Multitasking skills on different projects.

Position Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior IT Audit with SOX experience is required.
• B.S. in Audit, Accounting or related Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Must have strong experience applying IT audits to the constraints of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (Narratives, Risk Matrix, Control Templates, Testing, Certifications, Remediation).
• Preferred strong experience with multiple technology domains including software development, Windows, database management.
